The NT850+™ was designed using a state-of-the-art virtual computer simulation process that allows Nitto^® to see how the tire will perform in various environments, while reduced rolling resistance was achieved using an all-new tread compound. Through virtual and real-world testing, Nitto^® was able to identify key elements to achieve all-season performance. The NT850+™ was then built using a patent pending automated manufacturing system, which improves uniformity over conventional manufacturing. Utilizing these technologies the NT850+™ provides a smooth and quiet ride with the benefit of reduced rolling resistance, making it a tire that you can count on.

Smooth, Quiet Ride

Quiet Serration technology reduces road noise and helps make each drive quiet and comfortable. Much like the acoustics in a musical hall or recording studio, this technology helps break up repetitive tire noises, resulting in a quieter tire.

Reduced Rolling Resistance

The NT850+™ uses an all-new tread compound that reduces the amount of energy required to move the tire. In addition to its performance and safety features, this state-of-the-art tread compound reduces rolling resistance by 11%¹.

Dry Weather Performance

Interlocking tread blocks and a continuous rib help make the tread stiffer for performance in dry conditions.

Wet Weather Performance

Circumferential grooves allow water to escape to help maintain contact with the road in wet weather conditions.

All-Weather Traction

3D Multiwave sipes cut through the thin film of water on wet road surfaces to improve traction in mild snow and rain.
